More and more people have smartphones with increasing ability to connect to things. You can use a variety of tools to connect your super gadget to your just about everything in your house. There are many other ways that you can use to get documents, music, pictures, and video to your phone. One of my favorite ways to move files between your computer and phone is DropBox.
Make sure WiFi is set to ON. If WiFi networking is set to off, tap the toggle switch to turn it on. Wait a few seconds while your phone connects. If you have changed the network key from the original setting, enter that key instead. You can find out more about connecting to your Wireless Gateway here.
Wait a few seconds while your phone connects, and you're done! Please note that these steps may need to be repeated if you want your phone to connect to your private home WiFi network when you are at home.
Tap on the Wi-Fi option in the Settings menu. Find xfinitywifi from the list of networks then tap and hold on the network name. In the menu that appears below the network name, tap on Delete to forget the network.
To turn WiFi on, tap Settings. Find xfinitywifi from the list of available networks and tap it. Wait a few seconds while your phone acquires an IP address from the xfinitywifi network.
Once connected the phone will show as connected under the xfinitywifi SSID name. From there, you can begin to browse the Internet. Comcast does not offer technical support for connecting devices to the Internet.
Please refer to the user manual for your device should you require additional assistance. Most Android phones attempt to connect to the most recently connected network that is available.
If your device has not connected to your private home WiFi network by default, follow the steps below to connect to your private home WiFi network. Make sure WiFi is turned on. Available WiFi networks appear under Choose a Network. Wait a few seconds while your iPad acquires an IP address from the xfinitywifi network.
If your device is an iPad 2 or older, it will connect to the most recently connected network, if that network is available.Because your fax machine uses a built-in analog modem, the same limitations hold true if you attempt to connect a fax machine or an external modem to a VoIP line, which digitizes phone conversations into a form that can travel over an Internet connection.

Basically pushes wifi data to dongle on back of tv without having a wifi network. Phone has to be within close proximity to TV. Play a presentation, video or slide show stored on your smart phone.
It should appear on your television screen. Cell phone manufacturers do not allow you to show the normal phone interface on the TV screen, so when you connect your smart phone to your TV, do not expect a jumbo-sized texting screen.
